Who uses this app

Jeeves is a private assistant built for and used by a single person, its owner. It accesses only the owner's own Google accounts, with the owner's explicit consent.

What Google data is accessed

Jeeves requests the read-only Gmail scope (gmail.readonly). It can search and read the owner's email messages and attachments. It cannot send, delete, label or otherwise modify email.

How the data is used

Email content is read only when the owner asks a question that requires it, or to prepare reminders the owner has asked for. Relevant excerpts are sent to the Anthropic Claude API to generate the answer, which is delivered to the owner in a private Telegram chat.

Storage

OAuth tokens are stored on the owner's private server. Email content is not stored in bulk; only short notes the owner chooses to keep may be saved in the assistant's private memory on that server.

Sharing

Google user data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with anyone other than the processing described above. The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time in the Google Account settings under "Third-party apps & services".
